Each generation of the family has taken an active role in keeping Zegna’s vision alive, with the first boutique opening in Paris in 1980. Stores in London followed in 1983 and Milan in 1985. In 1991, when the Palace Hotel opened its boutique in Beijing, it became the first Western luxury menswear store to open a boutique in China, in keeping with its founder’s entrepreneurial spirit.
