FENDI
FENDI was founded in Rome in 1925 by Adele and Edoardo Fendi. The opening of the first FENDI boutique was followed by a bag shop and a fur atelier. Soon to gain international acclaim, FENDI emerged as a brand renowned for its elegance, craftsmanship, innovation and style. A collaboration with the late Karl Lagerfeld began in 1965 and in 1992 Silvia Venturini Fendi succeeded her in creative direction. In 1994, she was given responsibility for leather goods accessories and later for children's clothing and men's clothing lines. In 2000, the LVMH Group became the majority shareholder of FENDI in 2001. Today, FENDI is synonymous with quality, tradition, experimentation and creativity.
