Orjin Group was founded in 1980 by Mr. Zafer Kurşun and Mr. Zafer Yıldırım and has been successfully continuing its activities in production and business life since its establishment. Orjin Group started its business activities in the early 1980s with the production of leather and related clothing. With an export-oriented understanding, Orjin Group has produced and still produces high quality leather and fur products for international luxury brands.
In the 1990s, Orjin Group added Real Estate Investments to its field of activity and still continues to produce strong and positive results mainly in this field. Orjin Group has a large real estate portfolio consisting of historical buildings on shopping streets, hotels, offices and logistics buildings in different locations of Istanbul. The most well-known investment of Orjin Group is IstinyePark Istanbul Shopping Center and Residences Project, which was awarded as Europe’s Best Shopping Center in 2009 by ICSC – International Council of Shopping Centers. Orjin Group is currently developing IstinyePark Izmir Shopping Center and Hotel Project.
